Sariska is open from October to June. Winter is the most comfortable for safaris, while the hot summer months give the highest chance of a tiger sighting near the waterholes.
Winter is the most popular and comfortable time to visit. Days are cool and pleasant, the foliage thins out so wildlife is easier to spot near water sources, and animals are more active. As this is peak season, it’s wise to book your safari and hotel well in advance.

Summer is hot and dry, but it is arguably the best season for tiger sightings — with water scarce, animals gather around the remaining waterholes and tigers are often seen near them. Visit in the early morning or late evening, and carry water, a hat and sunscreen.
The monsoon turns the park lush and green, but the core tiger zones close during the peak monsoon for safety. The reserve reopens around October. Buffer areas may stay accessible, though sightings are fewer as animals disperse into thick vegetation.
